Un blanco al más estilo Chablis, para cuya elaboración se han usado levaduras inactivas que aportan al vino una rica estructura complementaria a nivel aromático y gustativo. Mas Comtal, con la elaboración de su Pomell de Blancs, se desmarca de los típicos blancos del Penedés ligeros y suaves, para presentarnos un blanco lleno de aromas y sabores largos y cremosos, aromas terciarios provenientes de la crianza. Sobre lías durante 3 o 4 meses en depósitos subterráneos.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
