Un blanco original y sin crianza, aunque parcialmente fermentado en roble (la uva chardonnay, el 40% del coupage, fermenta en barricas nuevas); un blanco complejo, fresco, elegante y con cuerpo. La uva chardonnay ha sido fermentada durante 2 meses en barricas nuevas de roble Allier.

The production region of D.O. Penedès is located in La región catalana del Penedés, en España. Comprende 47 términos municipales en el sur de la provincia de Barcelona, y 16 términos municipales en la provincia de Tarragona. Se divide en tres subzonas: Penedès Superior, situada en el interior y en la montaña, con escasa producción debido a las condiciones de cultivo, pero de una gran calidad, Penedès Medio, situada al sudeste y la de mayor producción, y Penedès Inferior en la zona costera.
