Es una parcela de poco más de una hectárea (1,06) que pertenece al municipio de Corullón. Las viñas –con edades que van de los 50 a los 90 años– están plantadas sobre pizarras de estructura laminar gruesa, situadas de forma horizontal y oblicua, con alternancia de areniscas y esquistos arenosos. Debido a la fuerte pendiente y al riesgo de erosión, los suelos se trabajan con cubiertas vegetales en pequeñas terrazas. Aquí se encuentran las laderas más pronunciadas del municipio, con pendientes que van del 60 al 70%. Todo el viñedo está plantado en vaso a razón de 6.000 a 7.000 cepas/ha según la orografía. La fermentación tuvo lugar en una tina abierta con bazuqueos y una maceración que se alargó durante 31 días. Valdafoz en nariz tiene el perfume y el estilo de un Volnay, muy fino, con aromas de cereza picota y un delicado recuerdo cárnico. En boca es punzante y estructurado. Tiene una perfecta sábana de taninos bien tramados con una exquisita armonía. Una botella que se disfrutará en su fase más hedonista desde principios de 2020. Producción de apenas 1.200 botellas.
