La gama de vinos Vella Lola presenta vinos alegres, frescos, afrutados y dinámicos. Sus tintos son atrevidos, amables y equilibrados. Garnacha, variedad ampurdanesa por excelencia y Syrah, que le aporta una estructura firme. Ambas variedades conviven durante cuatro meses en barricas de roble francés. Sus frutos proceden de la finca Comadran, una superficie 6.300 m2, de suelo franco arenoso y plantación de 1992. La producción es de 4.500 kg/ha. Es un vino fresco y alegre, de color rojo granate de capa media, con aromas que recuerdan a la fruta negra con toques de vainilla y de clavo. En boca es largo y fresco, rico en expresión frutal, ligero y persistente. Criado durante 4 meses en barricas de roble. Posterior reposo en botella durante un mínimo de 2 meses más.

The production region of D.O. Empordà is located in La región de Ampurdán (Empordà), hasta 2006 denominada Ampurdán-Costa Brava, abarca la zona vinícola desde la Albera hasta la sierra de Rodas y la Garrotxa de Ampurdán, en España. El área de producción está distribuida en dos subzonas: 35 municipios al norte del Alto Ampurdán y 13 municipios al este del Bajo Ampurdán.
