Marengo es una pequeña bodega familiar localizada en La Morra. Conducida en la actualidad por Marco, la empresa trabaja bajo principios sencillos pero sólidos tanto en el estilo como en la sostenibilidad, centrando su trabajo en la conducción de las 7 hectáreas de viñedo y en una mínima intervención en la bodega. El estilo de Marengo reúne la fuerza y la expresividad del territorio y nos ofrece vinos elegantes y afrutados, elaborados con maceraciones cortas y con una crianza en pequeñas barricas. La expresividad y la territorialidad se encuentran en Bricco delle Viole. Un vino de color granate oscuro que se revela elegante y refinado en nariz, con notas frutales y de especias, con sutiles recuerdos de hierbas, raíces, cerezas, sotobosque, regaliz y menta. En boca se muestra proporcionado y equilibrado, con taninos vívidos pero bien integrados y un final largo, sabroso y muy satisfactorio. De cuerpo pleno, correcto y regular, de agradable frescura y seductoramente envolvente.
