Este vino está acogido bajo la denominación Margaux. Se elabora en el municipio de Soussans, en suelos de grava sobre arcilla que se trabajan para favorecer el arraigo. Las cosechas son manuales y la uva se recoge en cajas en el punto óptimo de maduración. Envejecido en depósitos de acero inoxidable (merlot y cabernet) y en barricas nuevas de roble francés (petit verdot).

The production region of A.O.C. Margaux is located in Con eje en la la localidad de Margaux, su principal château (Premier Cru) recibe igualmente su nombre. Contiene 21 Cru Classé châteaux, más que cualquier otra comuna en Burdeos. Las comarcas de Cantenac, Arsac, Soussans y Labarde. Está en la margen izquierda de la Gironda. Es la denominación más meridional del Médoc, no muy al norte de Burdeos. Al este se encuentre el bosque de las Landas.
