El Clos Floridène ofrece deliciosos aromas a grosellas, fresas y flores en nariz, acompañados de un elegantísimo recuerdo a ceniza. Su boca es muy delicada, con acidez fina, tanino bien equilibrado y fruta de redonda madurez. Se trata de un burdeos dócil y fácil de interpretar, pero no carente de complejidad. Por su pureza, energía y floral toque final puede recordar a algunos vinos de Borgoña. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barricas de roble francés, un tercio nuevas.

The production region of A.O.C. Graves is located in La comarca de Graves, una subregión importante de la región vinícola de Burdeos, situada en la margen izquierda del río Garona, en la parte superior de la región, al sureste de la ciudad de Burdeos y que se extiende por más de 50 kilómetros. Es la única subregión de Burdeos que es famosa por los tres tipos de vinos principales de Burdeos: tintos, blancos secos y vinos dulces, aunque los vinos tintos dominan la producción total. Cubre la mayoría, pero no toda, la subregión de Graves, abarcando pueblos como Sauternes, Pessac, Talence, Léognan, Martillac, Saint-Morillon y Portets. El nombre Graves deriva de su suelo intensamente gravoso, resultado de los glaciares de la Edad de Hielo, que también dejaron depósitos de cuarzo blanco que todavía se pueden encontrar en el suelo de algunas de las fincas vinícolas más importantes.
