La Cooperativa de Capçanes fundada en 1933 tiene actualmente 125 socios, y elabora una gran variedad de vinos, bajo la denominación de origen Montsant. El potencial de la bodega se fundamenta en la riqueza y diversidad de fincas, lo que queda muy bien demostrado en este vino con un ensamblaje de cabernet sauvignon, garnacha, cariñena y tempranillo. Costers del Gravet tiene rasgos de gran finura en la nariz y un equilibrado paso de boca. Envejecido durante 12 meses en barrica de roble americano y roble francés al 50% nuevas con dos trasiegos.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
