Fruto de la experiencia del grupo Juan Gil. Jugoso, amable y de tacto envolvente, todo en él parece hecho a medida. La fruta, muy madura, asimila con naturalidad una barrica medida a la perfección que aporta tonos especiados y de regaliz a una fruta de primerísima calidad. El Can Blau muestra las diferencias de cada añada bajo un techo común de madurez y jugosidad excelsas, de tonos torrefactos y taninos pulidos, dulces y cremosos. Un vino intenso pero amable, sorprendente pero asequible para todos los públicos. Para la crianza sólo se emplean barricas nuevas, con alto aporte tánico.

The production region of D.O. Montsant is located in La comarca integrada por los municipios y bodegas que, hasta 2002, formaban la subzona Falset de la denominación de origen Tarragona. Se extiende por 16 municipios, la mayoría en la comarca del Priorato y unos pocos en la Ribera del Ebro.
